“Wow it’s the middle of July already.  Time sure fly’s when you are having fun.  Stop by the branch and beat the heat and see where all the fun is happening.  Monday at 1:30 p.m we have Euchre in our Museum Room, everybody is welcome to join in, play begins at 2:00 p.m.  Monday at 6:45 p.m Bingo begins, there are many prize payouts and a Jackpot of $1,000.00.  The branch will be celebrating Canada’s 150 with a Bingo on Saturday July 28th from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm all prize payouts are $150 and a Jackpot of $1,500.00.  Thursday evenings is our Sports Night with Euchre beginning at 7:00 p.m and darts or pool are available in the Club Room.  Every other Friday is Wing Night.  Our Volunteer’s will be taking a well deserved break and will NOT be having wings on July 28th.  We will be gearing up for the Heritage Music Festival.  Aug 10th Wasted Measures will be playing, that evening will be hosted by The Shelburne Schooner’s.  The Jamaican Jerk team will be there cooking .  There will be a dunk tank on the Patio, come on out and try to dunk the President and Executive.  Half of the proceeds from this event will go to The Jr Schooners.  Friday Aug 11 will be a Red Friday Wing Night with DJ Rod from Country 105.  Unfortunately the Chipwoods Band has had to cancel their event.  Saturday Aug 12th The Fox and The Fiddle will be performing on the Patio from 1:00 p.m – 5:00 p.m with the Pipers performing after the Parade.  Saturday evening The Burne, Visual Negative and Sean Bourke will be performing in the Warriors Hall.  Please bring in your instruments on Sunday Aug 13th and join us after the breakfast for a small town jamboree. Food will be available all weekend.  The volunteer sign up sheets have been posted, don’t delay if you would like to help out the sheets are filling fast.  Thank you for your continued support of Branch 220,” commented Lesa Peat, Royal Canadian Legion President.
