Shelburne Police Charge Shelburne Woman with Impaired Driving
On November 11, 2017, while conducting a traffic stop, Shelburne Police officers became suspicious that
a female driver had been consuming alcohol. As a result, a 20 year old woman from Shelburne has been
charged with operation of a motor vehicle while ability impaired, as well as, operation of motor vehicle
with more than 80mgs of alcohol in her blood.
The accused is set to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on November 28, 2017.
Impaired driving continues to be a concern on Ontario’s roadways. The Shelburne Police Service
reminds everyone that if you drink, don’t drive. If you drink alcohol please make plans to have a
designated driver, call a cab or stay over.
