Branch Manager of Shelburne’s Pace Credit Union, Tammy Austen, was extremely proud to present Shelburne Home Hardware Building Centre(SHHBC) Owner, Bill Gillam with $500 in support of SHHBC’s Donate A Plate Breakfast Program Annual Fundraising Event. “What better way to give back to community then to support the Breakfast Program. Bill does a great job and I support his efforts 100%, ” commented Austen. (Below) Each year, Gillam surpasses his previous year in the amount of money raised for local schools’ breakfast programs and credits the entire Shelburne Home Hardware Team for the success. This donation occurred November 30,2017 and over $3,000 has been raised, which is a good start to the fundraising drive. Gillam will hold true to his usual promise matching the public donations up to $5000. Shelburne Home Hardware Building Centre with the help of Shelburnites and wonderful donations like Pace Credit Union’s will ensure that all local school children will never go hungry.
