“December is finally here. Lots of Christmas activities at the branch, beginning with Santa and Mrs. Claus coming for breakfast on December 10th. They will be arriving at 10am – 12pm to hand out goodies to the children and take pictures with everyone. Breakfast is served from 9am – 12pm. We offer “The Hungry Man” for $10, Westerns and of course a regular good old fashioned breakfast with either bacon or sausage, home fries, baked beans, eggs, toast and juice for the low price of $7 each for adults or $4 for children. December 15th Santa and Mrs. Claus will be back for Red Friday Wing Night. We will be introducing “Eastern Storm” as our entertainment that night. The band and I will be discussing a possible Newfie Night to be held after the winter months. The Ladies Auxiliary will be having their monthly luncheon on December 21st with Pulled Pork on the menu. Lunch begins at 11:30am – 1:00pm. Please come join us on December 24th for a Appetizer Pot Luck we will be running on holiday hours between Christmas and New Years. December 29th Wasted Measures will be Entertaining for the last Red Friday Wing Night of the Year. We do not have a New Year’s Eve party planned, instead come join me on January 1stfor President’s Levy from 1pm – 6pm. Shelburne Legion is a little different than most branches. On January 1st we like to stay in our PJ’s. So ask Santa for some new PJ’s this year and join in on the fun. Happy Birthday to all the Comrades born in December, there are quite a few of you.
