Local Restaurant, Beyond The Gate Is Recognized By MP David Tilson

Entrepreneur and visionary, Frederic Chartier, Chef and Owner of Beyond the Gate , a  Creperie specializing in French food is located at 138 Main Street West in Shelburne, was recently visited by MP David Tilson. Recognizing Chartier’s business that opened in August of 2017 was just one important reason for the visit. Tilson also congratulated Chef Chartier on his recently becoming a Canadian citizen. Chartier grew an idea into a thriving business starting his Gourmet Creperie as a street cart business. In addition to Chef Chartier’s twenty year chef experience, his drive, relentless optimism and creative entrepreneurial spirit has allowed Chartier’s vision to be shared with Shelburnites even while challenged with construction improvements to the location. If you would like to treat yourself to a feeling of being somewhere else while never having left the community, Beyond The Gate, which is quite literally, cleverly named, beyond the gate, is the place for you. And what does Chef Chartier think about the recent visit by MP Tilson? “I feel honoured to be recognized by someone who does a lot for the community.” And it’s fair to say, the Town of Shelburne is happy to have Beyond the Gate as a proud member of our community.  Contact Beyond the Gate at  (519) 306-3600, m.me/BTGbeyondthegate, email btg@chef.net,  or  to find out more about Chef Chartier’s extensive and impressive work history, visit their website at http://www.beyondthegate.ca
