151st Shelburne Fall Fair 2018 Another Great Year!

The 151st Shelburne Fall Fair was a tremendous hit with Fair Fair goers. At every turn, the Fair offered many entertainment and fun for the whole family. One of the highlights, the Demolition Derby! A very important addition to the Shelburne Fall Fair were the Accessibility Mats that were greatly appreciated by who used strollers, wheel chairs or electric chairs noting that mats lead directly to washroom facilities, the Exhibition Hall and the Barn. Featured below, MP David Tilson and Shelburne Agricultural Society President, Larry Braiden stand on the Mats that a Federal Government Grant provided $11, 365 towards and local fundraising is endeavoring to raise the remainder of the cost of $6000 for the 250ft mat for a total cost of $17, 480.

MP Tilson was pleased to have made the initial grant presentation to the Fair Board and every please to see the mats installed in time for the Fall Fair.

Winner Of The Natasha Paterson Memorial Award For Outstanding Achievement

The Natasha Paterson Memorial Award presented for Outstanding Achievement was awarded to Megan Kratky. (LtoR) In her absence, Jr. Ambassador Sarah Bannon acknowledged the Award on behalf of Megan Kratky. Meghan Mills with the help of her son, Max made the presentation during opening ceremonies of the 151 st Shelburne Fall Fair.
