Shelburne Veterans Enjoyed Annual Christmas Luncheon of 2018

The Shelburne Veterans who meet each Wednesday at the Shelburne Royal Canadian Legion 220 Branch held their annual Christmas luncheon on December 5th enjoying a lovely turkey dinner courtesy of the wonderful cooks and volunteers among the Ladies Auxiliary. When special people like this group gets together, there are always great times to be had including fantastic and genuine conversation. Another wonderful year! My special Thanks to all the folks at the Legion who do not get paid for all the hard work they do and everything they do make special events like the Veterans Christmas luncheon highly anticipated.

Above: Pastor Gord Horsley, the Legion’s Padre got the afternoon started off with a prayer to remember those who are no longer with us and fair to say, the room did indeed feel blessed in gratitude.
