TD Canada Trust Donates $1000 To The Town Of Shelburne In Support Of Future Recreation Projects

TD Canada Trust Branch Manager, Anthony Gagliardi, presented Shelburne Mayor Wade Mills and Shelburne Deputy Mayor Steve Anderson with a check for $1000 in support of Shelburne’s future recreational projects. The Funds are provided through one of TD’s many philanthropic foundations, The Friends Of The Environment Foundation. In light of Canada’s successes on the world stage via Tennis, the sport is making a resurgence and many  people, have expressed to Shelburne Town Council, a desire to have both a Tennis court and Pickleball court.  If you have never heard of Pickleball, click here for this video to get caught up.  Council has discussed the possibility of both sports coming to Shelburne in a publicly accessible way, possibly building a court in one of our parks. Should the projects come into fruition, this donation will come in very handy.
